High-Rib Mesh is an expanded metal sheet product,
specifically developed for use as permanent formwork to concrete. The profile
of the open mesh, in combination with the tangs, allows the development of
dense concrete nodules and indents on the face of the High-Rib, forming an
enhanced mechanical key for the second phase pour.
High-Rib Mesh is primarily used in construction joint
applications abut it is also used to form wall, beam & column surfaces and
slabs soffits, where the formed surface will not be seen.
When High-Rib Mesh is used as vertical formwork, the
resulting formwork pressure is significantly less than that developed with
traditional forming materials, reducing the overall support requirement.
Rib lath is used in applications related to structural
work, concreting, projecting insulation, or metal/wooden frame coating.
Rib lath ensures flatness, rigidity, good adhesion and is
suitable for major construction work such as reinforcement, formwork for foundations,
slabs, walls, seals and other uses.
It is easy to cut and form to ornamental plaster work. It
provides ample keying for scratch coat. It is commonly used for plaster machine
application. It gives a uniform coat depth for large area.
Ribbed lath is produced in hot dipped galvanized steel, zinc coated carbon steel or stainless steel.
